Is YouTube’s biggest flirt coming to Formula 1’s TX Grand Prix?
It’s time to prim and prep for the big date, because YouTube’s most renowned flirt is revving ahead on a brand new web series — and could make an appearance here in Texas to celebrate it.
Chicken Shop Date host Amelia Dimoldenberg will trade in her beloved chicken nuggets and flirting skills for helmets and witty banter in Passenger Princess, a new YouTube series that follows Dimoldenberg as she learns how to drive from acclaimed Formula 1 drivers. Filmed at the 2025 Belgian Grand Prix, the inaugural four-part series will premiere on Wednesday, October 15, her production company shared in an Instagram post on October 8.
Featured guests in the series are Formula 1 drivers George Russell, Ollie Bearman, Oscar Piastri and Carlos Sainz. The endeavor marks the latest creative project from Dimoldenberg, who rose to fame for her decade-running Chicken Shop Date interview series that has captured sparks flying with superstars like Cher, Andrew Garfield, Bella Hadid, Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer. Her other media and production work includes series Amelia’s Cooking Show and Who Cares? as well as her Hollywood red carpet interview appearances.
“The episodes…will blend Dimoldenberg’s signature off-beat interview style with the fast-paced world of Formula 1, ‘resulting in an unforgettable mix of comedy and candid conversation as she embarks on the pursuit of a driving license,’” the post read in part.
While the upcoming series’ initial four-episode run has already been filmed, there’s no saying Dimoldenberg won’t take a trip to the Lone Star State in promotion of the race-fueled YouTube show. The 2025 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix will run at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin from Friday, October 17, through Sunday, October 19. Alongside race day thrills, musicians Kygo, Garth Brooks and Turnpike Troubadours will perform each night following the festivities.
She already had sparks flying when she interviewed Damson Idris, who co-starred with Brad Pitt in F1 the movie. We’ll have to wait and see how she acts around the real speedsters of Formula 1.

Man fatally shot during dog walk in Northwest Austin, neighbor arrested

Billy Carlisle, 41, was shot at the intersection of Gardenridge Hollow and Wallace Drive at approximately 6:06 p.m. May 8. Austin-Travis County EMS attempted lifesaving measures, but Carlisle was pronounced dead at 6:45 p.m.
Hunter Buchmeyer, 36, was taken into custody in connection with the shooting.
According to APD, Carlisle was walking his dog with his son when he and Buchmeyer, also walking his dog, got into a verbal altercation. The two neighbors had “prior history,” APD said.

No charges have been filed. APD said the investigation remains open.

Antisemitic incidents in Rhode Island fell by half in 2025, ADL says
There was a significant reduction in the number of antisemitic incidents in Rhode Island in 2025, according to a national Jewish advocacy group.
According to the Anti-Defamation League’s latest Audit of Antisemitic Incidents, there were 26 antisemitic incidents in the state last year. That’s down from the 52 incidents counted by the group in 2024.
Samantha Joseph, New England regional director of the Anti-Defamation League, says a big reason for the reduction is a steep decline in antisemitism on college campuses.
“It shows that campus administrators are taking their responsibilities very seriously to provide a safe environment for all of their students,” said Joseph.
Brown University had over $500 million in federal funding frozen by the Trump administration last year following investigations into alleged antisemitism on campus. The funding was restored after Brown reached a settlement with the administration.
The reduction in antisemitic incidents in Rhode Island reflects a wider trend in New England as a whole. According to the ADL’s report, there were 400 antisemitic incidents in the region in 2025, compared to 638 the previous year.
While she’s pleased about the overall drop in antisemitic incidents in Rhode Island, Joseph says a number of concerning trends continue to persist. In particular, the state is still seeing more anti-Jewish incidents than it did prior to the October 7 attacks on Israel that launched the Gaza War in 2023.
Joseph is also concerned about the violent nature of local incidents of antisemitism.
“Even though overall incidents are down, assaults are up and assaults with a deadly weapon are up significantly,” said Joseph. “Our communities remain concerned for their safety, and our work is far from done.”
