ATLANTA — A former NFL participant with the Atlanta Falcons is now going through expenses after police say he took a suitcase that wasn’t his and stole a charger.

Channel 2 Investigative Reporter Mark Winne obtained physique digicam footage that reveals Damien Parms being arrested inside Hartsfield-Jackson Worldwide Airport.

Police informed Winne that Parms took a suitcase off of a Delta baggage carousel and right into a restroom earlier than going by it. They are saying he took a charging twine from the bag and took it again to a different baggage carousel.

“I put it on one of many conveyor belts. It was a inexperienced bag. It appeared similar to my bag,” Parms might be heard telling police.

Parms didn’t have a ticket to fly or boarding cross indicating he would have had a suitcase on the carousel.

“Mr. Parms acknowledged that he wanted a bag. That’s what he informed our investigator,” APD Airport Precinct Commander Main Kelley Collier stated.

Main Collier says that baggage theft is uncommon on the airport.

“We’ve plenty of officers patrolling,” he defined, “so any concern which will come up we’re capable of handle it instantly.”

Winne spoke with Parms over the telephone who stated he was on the airport to purchase meals.

Parms informed Winne he has a job making $25 an hour and a loft condominium, and has loads of cash from his time within the NFL.

CHICAGO (AP) — Keaton Wallace had a career-high 27 points and the short-handed Atlanta Hawks beat the Chicago Bulls 110-94 on Wednesday night.

Wallace nearly doubled his previous high of 14. He made four 3-pointers and had six assists.

Daeqwon Plowden scored 19 points in his NBA debut after being called up from the G League’s College Park Skyhawks.

Dyson Daniels scored 18 points, and Onyeka Okongwu added 14 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists to help the Hawks win for the third time in four games even though Trae Young sat out due to a bruised right rib. The three-time All-Star was hurt against Phoenix on Tuesday night when he scored a season-high 43 points in a 122-117 win.

Coby White scored 16 points for Chicago. Zach LaVine had 15, and Nikola Vucevic added 14 points and 16 rebounds.

The Bulls went on a 12-2 run in the third to pull within 72-67 with about five minutes left in the quarter. The Hawks led by eight going into the fourth and remained in control from there.

Both teams struggled from 3-point range, with the Hawks making 13 of 43 and the Bulls going 6 for 27.
