Texas at Arkansas odds: Early point spread released, How to Watch

The stage is set for an exciting SEC clash in Week 12, with the Texas Longhorns traveling to Fayetteville to take on the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Ahead of the showdown, FanDuel Sportsbook has released the early point spread for the showdown, and Texas is favored by 16.5 points at the moment. Additionally, the over/under has been set at 55.5 points for the conference battle.

This may be a new rivalry to the SEC, but Texas and Arkansas have a lengthly history of being former conference rivals. Their first clash dates back to 1903, and the two teams have played each other a whopping 79 times over the course of college football’s illustrious history.

Texas won their first 13 matchups, but the Razorbacks finally broke the streak in 1933. The Longhorns may have the advantage, with their record of 56-23 against Arkansas, but the Razorbacks have won the last two meetings of the programs, and they’ll be hoping to make it three in a row this coming weekend.

Texas has designs on making it to the College Football Playoff, but Arkasas has a high ceiling they’re also trying to reach at the moment. If Sam Pittman and company can send Texas packing with a loss, it’d be one of the biggest wins of the season for any team, and a monumental moment. Time will tell if they can get the job done.
