The Newport Comedy Series is turning its popular “Blind Date Interrupted” show into a monthly event at Top of Pelham after a successful sold-out debut.
Upcoming performances are set for March 27, April 17, and May 15 at One Pelham East in downtown Newport.
Comedian Ace Aceto hosts this unique blend of live blind speed dating and stand-up comedy, creating an interactive experience for both participants and audience members.
The night kicks off with some laughs before introducing three pairs of blind daters to the crowd. While the couples chat for 20 minutes, the audience enjoys more stand-up acts.

After their dates, participants return to share how it went. Friends in the audience can chime in with their thoughts too.
The evening wraps up with couples revealing if they’re up for a second date, with the chance to win dinner gift certificates from Inked Restaurant Group.
