PITTSBURG — A 36-year-old man died early Saturday after being hit by a car, and officers arrested the driver, police said.

The collision happened in the “early morning hours,” according to a statement from Pittsburg police. Police said arriving officers found the man down with major injuries in the 1200 block of Railroad Avenue.
