Los Angeles Kings Defeat New Jersey Devils in Hard-Fought 2-1 Win | World News – Times of India
Anze Kopitar also made a significant contribution for the Kings, notching a short-handed goal in the second period to open the scoring. Despite a recent scoring drought, Kopitar capitalized on a rebound opportunity after Adrian Kempe’s initial shot was saved by Daws, netting his 16th goal of the season and providing a crucial boost for the Kings.
In goal, David Rittich delivered a stellar performance for the Kings, making 26 saves and standing tall in the face of a relentless offensive onslaught from the Devils, particularly in the third period. After surrendering five goals in a disappointing loss to the Buffalo Sabres earlier in the week, Rittich showcased resilience and composure to help guide the Kings to victory.
The Devils, led by former King Tyler Toffoli, fought valiantly throughout the contest, with Toffoli notching his team-leading 23rd goal of the season to temporarily tie the game in the second period. Despite generating significant pressure in the third period with 15 shots on goal, the Devils were unable to solve Rittich’s stout goaltending and ultimately fell short in their quest for a comeback.
The Kings also received a boost with the return of Viktor Arvidsson, who recorded five shots on goal in his season debut after recovering from back surgery. However, the Kings did suffer setbacks before the game, placing Carl Grundstrom and Blake Lizotte on long-term injured reserve due to lower-body injuries.
With the win, the Kings bounced back from a disappointing loss and secured their third victory in four games, showcasing their resilience and determination as they continue their pursuit of success in the NHL.

Reconsider Where You Are Hiding Your Valuables
I hope you are never the victim of a burglary, but if you are, at least you can make it a little harder for a crook to find your valuables.
Reader’s Digest recently talked with Chris McGoey of McGoey Security Consulting and Robert Siciliano, a security analyst with Hotspot Shield.
Using information from these two experts, the magazine determined that these are the 10 spots burglars are most likely to check.
