On Friday evening, the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers will face off in Indianapolis for Game 3 of their second-round playoff series.

For the game, both teams have announced their injury reports (updated as of 4:30 Eastern Time).

The Knicks have ruled out OG Anunoby, Bojan Bogdanovic, Julius Randle and Mitchell Robinson.

Jalen Brunson is listed as questionable.

Meanwhile, the Pacers will be without Bennedict Mathurin, while Tyrese Haliburton is listed as questionable.

The Knicks lead the series 2-0 after winning both games on their home floor at Madison Square Garden.

Most recently, the Knicks beat the Pacers (in Game 2) by a score of 130-121.

Jalen Brunson led the way with 29 points, two rebounds, five assists and three steals while shooting 11/18 from the field and 3/6 from the three-point range in 32 minutes of playing time.

The Knicks are the second seed in the Eastern Confernece with a 50-32 record.

They are in the NBA playoffs for the second straight year, and defeated the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round (in six games).

As for the Pacers, they are the sixth seed with a 47-35 record.

They are in the NBA playoffs for the first time since 2020, and beat the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round (in six games).

Game 4 of the series will be on Sunday (also in Indiana).

Whoever wins the series will advance to the Eastern Conference Finals and face off against either the Boston Celtics or the Cleveland Cavaliers (that series is tied 1-1).

Keanu Reeves’ band Dogstar coming to Indiana State Fair

A band from southern California is headed to the Indiana State Fair this summer, and you’ll probably recognize the bass player.

Dogstar, a band that formed in 1991 with bass player Keanu Reeves — yes, that Keanu Reeves — will appear at the Hoosier Lottery Free Stage at the State Fair on Thursday, August 8.

The show is in support of their first new album in more than two decades, “Somewhere Between The Power Lines And Palm Trees.”

Juvenile injured in road rage shooting in I-80/94 construction zone in Hammond


HAMMOND, Ind. (WISH) — A juvenile was shot in a road rage incident in a highway construction zone in Hammond Monday afternoon, Indiana State Police say.

State police in a release that officers were called to the 7000 block of Madison Avenue in Hammond on a report that a shooting happened on Interstate 80/94 near Calumet Avenue, about a mile north of where troopers were dispatched.

They arrived to find a juvenile received a nonlife-threatening gunshot wound while driving through a construction zone east of the Indiana-Illinois border. They didn’t say if the juvenile was taken to a hospital or treated at the scene.

State police say they are working on gathering more information on a suspect vehicle.

Several Eastern Kentucky players compete in Kentucky/Indiana Junior All-Star games


(WYMT) – Several basketball players from the mountains competed in the Kentucky/Indiana Junior All-Star game over the weekend.

While the Kentucky Junior All-Stars lost to Indiana 130-103, Harlan County’s Maddox Huff went 6/11 from deep and racked up 22 points for Kentucky while South Laurel’s Jordan Mabe went 5/8 from the paint, scoring 12 points for Kentucky.

Ashland Blazer’s Zander Carter added 18 points.

The Kentucky Girls Junior All-Stars also lost to Indiana, falling 111-76 on Sunday. Knox Central’s Halle Collins scored four points and picked up a rebound and an assist for Kentucky. Southwestern’s Kinsely Molden picked up seven points and two rebounds.
