John Carrington Morley, age 91, of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, handed away peacefully at dwelling on November 30, 2022 within the firm of loving members of his household. John was born in Saginaw, Michigan on August 22, 1931, graduated from Middlesex Faculty in 1950, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Historical past from Yale College in 1954, and a Grasp of Enterprise Administration from the College of Michigan Ross Faculty of Enterprise in 1958. He served in the US Navy from 1954 to 1956 as a Lieutenant Junior Grade on the USS Mount Baker. Morley of Austin, TX, his spouse, Anne, and their two daughters, Jennifer Burner and her husband Clay Burner and daughter Janie, and Kristin; Andrew W. Morley of Boulder, CO, his spouse, Rebecca, and their three sons, Thomas, Tyler and Cameron; James B. Morley of Austin, TX and his son, Austin; and Thomas M. Morley of Shaker Heights, OH, his spouse, Kelly, and their 5 kids, Jeffrey, Sadie, Henry, Josie Ross and Sophie Ross.

A memorial service will probably be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Cleveland Heights, Ohio on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at a time to be introduced.

OBITUARY

Karen N. (nee Ahern) Klyn, age 84 of Painesville Twp., passed away on July 28, 2024 at University Hospitals TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Twp., OH. She was born on April 12, 1940 in Cleveland, OH.Mrs. Klyn had worked as a registered nurse at the former Mt. Sinai Hospital in Cleveland and later as a diabetic educator at both St. Vincent Charity Hospital in Cleveland and the Lake County Free Clinic in Painesville. Mrs. Klyn had volunteered for the Christ Child Society, Hope Chest, and the Free Clinic. She enjoyed shopping, watching movies, drinking wine and eating cheese, a good dance party and helping others. She most enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.She is survived by her children, Robert (Mary) Klyn, Deborah (Barry) Tomazin, Mary Katherine (Donald) Mager, Maureen (Jeffery) Zika and Matthew (Elizabeth) Klyn; grandchildren, Chase Klyn, Jake Klyn, Alek (Justin Hutchinson) Tomazin, Maxwell Tomazin, Addy Mager, Mason Mager, Jenna Zika, Kai Klyn and Esper Klyn; great-grandchildren, Sloane Hutchinson and soon to be born baby on August 16, 2024; niece Natalie (Brian) Lyons; and her cats, Rose and Winston.She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Helen (nee Corbett) Ahern; sister, Patricia Jossart; brother-in-law, James Jossart; sister, Maureen Ahern and brother, Michael Ahern.A funeral mass will be held at noon on Friday, August 2, 2024 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Rd., Concord Twp., OH 44060.Contributions in her memory to the Christ Child Society of the Western Reserve, online at www.christchildwesternreserve.org/donate or to the Lake County Free Clinic, www.lakefreeclinic.org/donate/.Arrangements entrusted to the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Mentor, OH. Cleveland, OH – Showers and thunderstorms are expected to move through Cleveland and the surrounding areas this evening and overnight, according to the US National Weather Service Cleveland OH. The forecast indicates another warm and humid night, with temperatures dropping to the upper 60s to lower 70s.

According to the National Weather Service, the humidity will persist throughout Tuesday, with thunderstorm chances higher in the eastern part of the region. The storms may bring brief periods of heavy rain, lightning, and gusty winds. Residents are advised to stay updated with the latest weather information and be prepared for changing conditions.

The Weather Service’s latest update shows scattered thunderstorms, with a higher likelihood of rain in areas such as Ashtabula, Erie, and Youngstown, where rain chances exceed 70%. Akron and Canton have a slightly lower chance, but still significant, with rain probabilities around 40-50%.

Overnight, the Cleveland area will experience muggy conditions, making it uncomfortable for some. Those with outdoor plans should monitor the weather closely and consider rescheduling or moving activities indoors.
