Lawrence Teen Indicted On Riot, Gun, Assault Charges: County Superior Court Roundup


NASHUA, NH — A Hillsborough County grand jury indicted the following people recently.

Jorge Ruiz, 19, of Broadway in Lawrence, MA, on attempted riot, conspiracy to riot, reckless conduct, attempted first-degree assault, attempted second-degree assault, two riot, two falsifying physical evidence, and two felonious use of a firearm charges, all felonies. He controlled a firearm and attempted to shoot it at others on West Hollis Street in Nashua on Aug. 16, 2023, and discarded an article of clothing and transferred a gun to impair an investigation, according to the indictment.

Bridget Shergalis, 27, of Mechanic Street in Marblehead, MA, on burglary, riot, conspiracy to commit criminal mischief, and conspiracy to commit falsifying physical evidence charges, all felonies. She was accused of burglarizing and rioting with others at Elbit Systems of America in Merrimack on Nov. 20, 2023. Edward Solano Reyes, 31, of White Street in South Burlington, Vermont, on first-degree assault, criminal threatening, riot, and reckless conduct charges, all felonies. He was accused of working with two or more people to cause a public alarm that led to two people getting shot on Oct. 29, 2023, in Nashua. Justin Spencer, 36, of Manchester Street in Manchester on two felony burglary charges. He was accused of burglarizing buildings on May Lane and Velma Circle in Pelham on Sept. 5, 2023.

Jamie M. St. Laurent, 44, of Webster Street in Hudson on a felony controlled drug act; acts prohibited-crack cocaine charge on May 4, 2023, in Nashua.

Roberto Torres, 43, of Rimmon Street in Manchester on a felony controlled drug act; acts prohibited-psilocybin charge on Nov. 18, 2023, in Nashua.

Katie Trepanier, 44, of Dalton Court in Manchester on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. She was accused of stealing between $1,000 and $1,500 worth of items from Kohl’s in Nashua on Nov. 4, 2023.

Daniel Valentin, 43, of Bridle Path in Nashua on a felony motor vehicles; penalties charge. He was accused of driving on Lowell Road in Hudson on Dec. 15, 2023, after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV.

Carol Vasquez, 31, of Mason Street in Nashua on two felony controlled drug act; acts prohibited charges, fentanyl and crack cocaine, in Hudson on July 23, 2023.

Tyler Welsh, 34, of Halfmoon Lane in Kingston on two controlled drug act; acts prohibited charges, meth and fentanyl, and a falsifying physical evidence charges, all felonies. He possessed the drugs, then removed a silicone container from his person, and kicked it while on the ground to impair an investigation on June 3, 2021, in Hudson, according to the indictment.

Jeffrey Weston, 43, of no fixed address in Nashua on a felony controlled drug act; acts prohibited-fentanyl charge on April 19, 2023, in Nashua.

Michael Woodside, 56, of Chestnut Street in Nashua on theft by unauthorized taking and receiving stolen property charges, both felonies. He was accused of stealing another man’s wallet on Dec. 21, 2023, in Nashua and retaining two credit cards. Woodside was convicted on a receiving stolen property charge in Nashua District Court in April 2023 and theft in Merrimack District Court in November 2023.
