Wisconsin’s Ron Johnson declares win; Barnes doesn’t concede

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Republican U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson claimed victory Wednesday in battleground Wisconsin as he held a slim lead over Democratic challenger Mandela Barnes in a pivotal race for figuring out majority management of the Senate.

The Related Press has but to name the race, with unofficial outcomes exhibiting Johnson holding a slim 1-point lead over Barnes, a margin that will be simply exterior the margin for a recount to be sought.
