Washington has Arizona Linebacker Visitor Whose Cousin Plays for Seattle Kraken

Not lengthy after watching his cousin assist the Seattle Kraken punch their first-ever playoff ticket, Arizona linebacker class of 2025 Jason Samis was readily available for the Washington Huskies’ eighth Spring Soccer follow.

“I used to be right here visiting my cousin who performs for the Kraken,” Samis stated.  “I used to be in a position to get a go to on the College of Washington.”

That cousin is two-time Stanley Cup Champion, and Seattle Kraken Left Wing, André Burakovsky, who signed a five-year, $27.5 million contract with the Kraken final July.

As a sophomore at Notre Dame Prep in Scottsdale, Arizona Samis put up modest numbers on either side of the ball, in restricted minutes.  In 13 video games he carried the ball 47 instances for 185 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Presently unrated by a scouting service, Samis would like to be a Husky, saying, “Hopefully I might be thought-about to attend an important college like this in the future.”

General his expertise was nice.

“The amenities and coaches have been wonderful at UW,” the sophomore 2-sport athlete stated.  “I had an incredible expertise and I used to be very impressed with the participant’s depth.  All of the employees was very pleasant and I used to be in a position to see how this system operates.”
