LEONARDTOWN, Md. – On Friday, March 24, 2023, the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Workplace Legal Investigations Division (CID) recognized Darryl Carlton Parks Jr., age 29 of Washington, DC, as a suspect within the murder of the sufferer, who was beforehand recognized as 18-year-old Isaiah Alexander Woodland, a transgender lady whose first title is Tasiyah and is also called Siyah. Later the identical day, investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Parks in connection to this murder.
On Tuesday, March 28, 2023, investigators with CID, together with the help of the Metropolitan Police Division’s Murder Unit, positioned and apprehended Parks on the arrest warrant.
Parks was incarcerated and awaits extradition again to St. Mary’s County. Parks has been charged with the next Legal Offenses:
First-Diploma Homicide
Second-Diploma Homicide
Firearm Use/Felony -Violent Crime
Two counts of Reckless Endangerment from Automotive
Unlawful Possession of a Regulated Firearm
