In anticipation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to the United States, the Indian-American diaspora in Washington organized a Unity march to express their enthusiastic welcome. The march, replicated in 20 major cities across the US, featured Indian Americans chanting slogans such as ‘Modi Modi,’ ‘Vande Mataram,’ and ‘Vande America’ in a spirited display of support. Participants joyfully danced to the popular song ‘Har Har Modi’ as they celebrated and showcased their excitement for the Prime Minister’s visit.
