Officials reopen right lane of I-15 after wildfire sparks near Juab-Utah county line

A brand new wildfire briefly shut down a lane of I-15 between Juab and Utah counties.

The Precision Fireplace ignited Saturday night and grew to 35 acres by 9 p.m., in line with Utah Fireplace Information. Officers closed the fitting lane of I-15 northbound close to mile marker 241 — alongside the road separating Utah County and Juab County — for about two hours as crews labored to extinguish the flames.

The reason for the fireplace seems to be to be human however stays underneath investigation, officers mentioned.
