Man’s arm partially amputated in Weber County farming accident

HUNTSVILLE, Weber County — A person’s arm was partially amputated in a crop-harvesting accident Tuesday afternoon.
Round 4:43 p.m. a male in his 20s was engaged on harvesting crops for a corporation that’s leasing former Trappist monastery land close to Huntsville within the Ogden Valley for rising crops, Weber hearth officers stated.
Deputy Chief David Reed stated the person was sporting a coat when he reached into a bit of apparatus. His coat acquired caught, throwing his arm into the equipment and partially amputating his arm.
The person’s coworkers referred to as 911 and Weber hearth responded. A paramedic ambulance transported the person to the hospital.
Reed stated he didn’t know if the limb was saved. The id of the person has not been launched.
Ogden Valley’s Trappist monastery, which was established in 1947, closed in 2017 however its open land was preserved in a belief.
