BUSTED: Utah deputies discover bounty of fentanyl pills worth quarter of a million dollars

GARFIELD COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) – Deputies found a bounty of illicit medication value 1 / 4 of 1,000,000 {dollars} in Garfield County on Sunday.

The Garfield County Sheriff’s Workplace says three grownup suspects have been concerned together with a juvenile. The three grownup suspects are a 24-year-old man, a 23-year-old man and a 21-year-old feminine. Their identities haven’t been launched right now.

Deputies say the incident occurred close to mile marker 2 on Freeway 12 in Garfield County. Authorities initially acquired experiences that “some people have been inflicting a disturbance.”

When deputies arrived on the scene, they witnessed a male suspect making an attempt to push a car whereas the opposite two suspects and the minor have been sitting contained in the car.

When deputies searched the suspects’ car they found a bounty of illicit medication together with eight baggage containing 1,000 fentanyl capsules every. Authorities say the medication amounted to a grand whole of round $250,000.

One suspect was additionally in possession of a hid weapon, officers say.

The 2 male suspects have been arrested and booked on the Garfield County Sheriff’s Workplace. The feminine suspect was taken to the Garfield County Hospital resulting from “well being issues” that existed previous to the present arrest.

The juvenile was transported to the youth facility in Richfield.
