NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Titans are hiring Ran Carthon, the San Francisco 49ers director of participant personnel, as their new basic supervisor, sources informed ESPN’s Dianna Russini and Jeff Darlington.

Carthon interviewed for the job final Friday with a panel of Titans executives, together with controlling proprietor Amy Adams-Strunk. Carthon brings 15 years of expertise to the Titans.
