United flight returns to San Diego Airport due to laptop fire onboard
SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – A United Airways flight was compelled to return to San Diego Worldwide Airport Tuesday morning after a hearth was reported on the airplane.
Airport officers mentioned the flight, which had taken off round 7:15 a.m. and was heading to Newark, rerouted again to the airport because of a laptop computer that had caught fireplace.
The airplane returned to the terminal at round 7:30 a.m., with San Diego Fireplace-Rescue crews on the scene to reply to the reported fireplace and look at all passengers and crew members.
San Diego Fireplace-Rescue officers mentioned as soon as crew members on the airplane have been alerted to an exterior battery pack on fireplace, they positioned the merchandise in a particular bag so the fireplace wouldn’t unfold.
4 folks from the airplane have been taken to the hospital, SDFD officers mentioned.
