Driver accused of intentionally crashing into San Diego Central Jail gate
SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – A driver was arrested on suspicion of deliberately crashing right into a gate on the San Diego Central Jail.
At round 11 p.m. Thursday, a Mercedes-Benz station wagon struck the primary entrance gate to the jail’s sally port, situated at 1173 Entrance Road in downtown San Diego.
Some legislation enforcement officers on the jail who heard and noticed the crash rushed to the scene and detained the driving force.
ABC 10News realized the person, who was not recognized, was arrested and faces felony vandalism expenses.
It’s unknown why the driving force struck the jail’s gate.
