USGS is reporting a 4.6 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Mexico close to Ensenada.

SAN DIEGO — San Diegans throughout the county reported feeling an earthquake round 9:30 p.m. on Thursday. 

USGS is reporting a 4.6 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Mexico close to Ensenada.

Many San Diegans have known as CBS 8 saying they felt the earthquake.

To date, the earthquake shook the next areas:

  • El Cajon
  • San Carlos
  • Downtown San Diego
  • Rancho Penasquitos
  • Torrey Highlands
  • Clairemont
  • Kearny Mesa

The Communication Director for the Governor of Baja California instructed CBS 8, that there are studies there was a landslide within the freeway from Ensenada to Tijuana. 

The harm is presently blocking two lanes of site visitors.
