11th Bricks Cascade LEGO Expo returns to Oregon Convention Center (photos)
Thousands of LEGO enthusiasts across all ages attended the Bricks Cascade LEGO Fan Expo at the Oregon Convention Center this weekend, May 13-14.
The two-day event, themed “They Come From A Mother Dimension,” included over 1,400 elaborate LEGO creations created by over 570 LEGO fanatics from across the globe. Attendees were able to make their own creations and race a “brick-built” car on a derby track.
Some of the hundreds of displays created with tiny multicolored bricks included a cityscape of Portland, a micro version of the Portland Rose Quarter and Jurassic Park, Star Wars, steam punk and space themed creations.
