TRONA, Calif. — The Navy has made public the identification of a pilot killed within the crash of a fighter jet within the Southern California desert final week.
Lt. Richard Bullock was killed Friday afternoon when his F/A-18E Tremendous Hornet went down within the neighborhood of the small Mojave Desert group of Trona, Naval Air Forces mentioned in a press release Sunday night time. No one on the bottom was damage.
Bullock was assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron 113 based mostly at Naval Air Station Lemoore, California. His dwelling of file was listed solely as Montana, based on a biographical knowledge sheet. He was commissioned in 2016.
The Navy mentioned Bullock was flying a routine coaching mission.
