Woman sentenced for fatal crosswalk accident involving BYU-Idaho student – East Idaho News

REXBURG — A girl who hit a Brigham Younger College-Idaho scholar along with her automobile inflicting his dying will spend time in jail.

Ruth Del Carmen Bedolla, 63, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 100 days suspended, after pleading responsible to at least one depend of misdemeanor reckless driving. Justice of the Peace Decide David Hunt additionally ordered Bedolla to pay $1157.50 in fines and serve 50 hours of neighborhood service inside a 12 months. She can be on unsupervised probation for 2 years.
