ESTERO, Fla. — With a furious third-period comeback in front of a sold-out crowd, the Florida Everblades won the 2023 Kelly Cup, 4-3 in Game 4 for a sweep over the Idaho Steelheads Friday night.

Tyler Irvine broke a 3-3 deadlock eight minutes into the third period with a rebound to put the Everblades ahead for good.

Florida opened the scoring late in the first period as Sean Josling made two intense charges to the goal on breakaways. His two scores put the Blades up 2-0 before Idaho scored the next three.

This marks the third Kelly Cup win for the Everblades, who took the title in 2012 and 2022.
