The Hawaii Division of Public Security is looking for the general public’s assist in finding a Laumaka work furlough inmate who fled furlough housing Monday.

Milton Kapule, 45, fled at about 10 a.m. State sheriffs and the Honolulu Police Division had been notified.

The general public security division stated sheriffs from the Particular Operations Part are actively trying to find him. Kapule is described as 5 toes, 7 inches and 150 kilos with brown hair and brown eyes.

He’s serving time for first-degree theft and first-degree selling contraband. He now faces an extra escape cost.

Kapule is a group custody inmate within the work furlough program with cross privileges.

Laumaka is a minimum-security work furlough heart for group custody inmates who’re actively looking for employment or working locally.
