5-star cornerback Dijon Lee includes Arizona in top 8

In college football, recruiting never stops. It is a constant aspect of the job of a college coach, and it’s no different for Jedd Fisch and company.

The Arizona Wildcats, fresh off a convincing win over Oklahoma in the Alamo Bowl, have already found success since on the recruiting trail with the addition of Northwestern offensive lineman transfer Alex Doost.

On Friday, the ‘Cats received some additional good news, though not in the form of an addition.

Dijon Lee, a 5-star cornerback in the 2025 recruiting class, released a top eight that has Arizona making the cut along with Florida, Georgia, LSU, Penn State, Oregon, USC and Washington.

Lee has 19 offers in total and didn’t include schools such as Auburn, Colorado, Nebraska, California, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M, Washington State and UCLA in his standout list.

As mentioned above, he is a rated as a 5-star in 247Sports’ Composite Rankings, where he checks in as a the No. 23 overall player in the 2025 class, the 5th-best corner and the highest-ranked prospect from California. Rivals has Lee as a high 4-star, coming in as the No. 30 player nationally, 4th-best corner, and 2nd player in California.

Lee has made multiple visits to Tucson to check out the program up close, all in 2023: April, September during the Northern Arizona game, and November during the Homecoming game win over UCLA.

Arizona has done a fantastic job of recruiting Lee and it shows with UA’s inclusion on his trimmed list. Assistant Director of Recruiting, Armond “Mondo” Hawkins, has been leading the charge in Lee’s recruitment and really has done a great job of building that connection and relationship with the 6-foot-3, 180-pound corner from Mission Viejo High School in Orange County.

As of now, Lee is looking to commit sometime before his senior season. Below are his junior highlights.
