Reigning Iditarod champion Brent Sass has scratched from this yr’s race, because of what race officers described as “periodontal well being” points. So 31 groups remained within the race Saturday, and on this episode we hear from the chase pack-turned lead pack about how they had been feeling about heading up the Yukon River, plus extra from the highest rookies on this yr’s race.
