How to watch ‘Port Protection Alaska’ season 8 premiere: Where to stream free

A brand new season of Port Protection Alaska premieres on National Geographic Tuesday, March 11 at 9/8c.

On this season, the summer and fall are proving grounds for the Port Protection residents. Viewers will follow along as the villagers work unceasingly to commercial fish, stock firewood, build cabins, collect water and hunt for red meat.

Meanwhile, the younger generation shown in the show must figure out how to grow and expand, and the old-timers work to find unique ways to reinforce their bodies after decades of struggle on the unforgiving island.

Where can I watch the new season of Port Protection Alaska?

Those interested in watching the latest season of Port Protection Alaska can stream it for free through Fubo and DirecTV Stream. Both streaming services offer free trials for new subscribers to enjoy before they decide whether to commit to a paid subscription.

What is Port Protection Alaska about?

According to National Geographic, the same producers responsible for the network’s hit series Life Below Zero are behind Port Protection Alaska, which is a show that profiles individuals trying to survive way about the Lower 48.

Surrounded by the North Pacific, Port Protection is a remote community tucked into the northwest corner of Price of Wales Island, Alaska. The approximately 100 residents who call the rugged, unforgiving land home regularly push the limits of survival.

Despite isolation, lack of government and law enforcement officials and more, the villagers believe the risk is worth the profound reward: a world of beauty with the security of community without the constraints of bureaucracy.
