Alaska’s gubernatorial candidates will take part of their one-and-only televised debate this election cycle on Wednesday night, beginning at 7 p.m.
Incumbent Republican Gov. Mike Dunleavy will debate unbiased former Gov. Invoice Walker, Democratic former state legislator Les Gara, and Republican former Kenai Peninsula Borough Mayor Charlie Pierce.
The 4 candidates for governor have all shared a stage solely as soon as this cycle. That was final week at a Useful resource Growth Council discussion board in Anchorage.

The televised debate is a part of Debate for the State 2022, a partnership between Alaska Public Media, Alaska’s Information Source and KTOO. Lori Townsend, Alaska Public Media’s information director, will average the controversy alongside Alaska’s Information Source managing editor and anchor Mike Ross.
The collection will proceed when U.S. Home candidates meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26. U.S. Senate candidates will debate Thursday, Oct. 27, additionally at 7 p.m.
The debates shall be broadcast reside statewide on KTUU, KAKM and KTOO 360TV. The debates can even air on Alaska Public Media — KSKA — and the Alaska Public Radio Community. The debates shall be streamed on-line on Alaska Public Media’s Fb web page and YouTube channel.
