California church shooting victims, suspect are Asian seniors, Sheriff’s Department says
Most of the victims and the alleged shooter within the assault that killed one individual and left 5 others harm at an Orange County church on Sunday had been older individuals of Asian descent, the Orange County Sheriff’s Division introduced.
The one that died within the assault at Geneva Presbyterian Church in Laguna Woods has not been recognized pending notification of their family members, the OCSD stated.
Those that had been wounded are 4 Asian males and an Asian girl. The lads are ages 66, 75, 82 and 92, and the lady is 86 years previous, the Sheriff’s Division stated.
The suspect is an Asian man in his 60s, authorities stated, and his identification is anticipated to be made public as soon as he’s booked into the Orange County Jail.
The taking pictures spree was stopped by church congregants, who apparently hogtied the shooter with electrical cords till police arrived.
