Sheriff: Man charged with killing West Virginia boy in 1985

KINGWOOD, W.Va. (AP) — Police have made an arrest within the chilly case slaying of a 13-year-old West Virginia boy.

David Monroe Adams, 56, was charged with second-degree homicide within the dying of Jerimiah “Jerry” Matthew Watkins, whose physique was present in a shallow gap close to railroad tracks on Nov. 12, 1985, in Terra Alta, information retailers reported, citing an announcement Tuesday from the Preston County Sheriff’s Workplace. Adams was 18 and lived in Terra Alta on the time of the slaying.
