Washington, D.C
Where Washington lives: Sean Doolittle
Welcome to The place Washington Lives, our phase exploring the houses of D.C.’s most notable residents.
First up, all people’s favourite philanthropist-pitcher, Sean Doolittle.
The place he lives: The Washington Nationwide and his spouse, author Eireann Dolan, purchased a comfortable two-bedroom, three-bath rowhouse in late June on Capitol Hill.
- They selected the neighborhood as a result of it is walkable, with quick access to Metro, and centrally situated, Dolan tells Axios. She says their new neighbors have been welcoming and created a way of neighborhood.
Bought value: $1,250,000 (listed for $1,880,000).
Agent: Fred Mohseni, The ONE Avenue Firm.
Highlights: Carrara marble counter tops, high-end Viking home equipment and Rohl fixtures, hardwood flooring all through, and a personal outside house, based on Mohseni.
- Dolan particularly loves the historic attraction, unique mantels, and doorways.
Background: A New Jersey native, Doolittle fell in love with the District even earlier than he joined the Nationals in 2017, per the Washington Submit. As a resident who spends offseasons right here, he and Dolan are passionate about statehood and different points impacting town.
