Veterans depart Cedar Rapids for Honor Flight to Washington D.C.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Veterans left from the Eastern Iowa Flight Terminal in Cedar Rapids Tuesday early morning for an Honor Trip to Washington, D.C.

The journey consists of check outs to The second world war, Korean and also Vietnam Battle memorials in addition to the Arlington National Burial Ground.

Eighty-nine experts boarded the trip.
