Youngkin announces $631K grant to enhance school safety in Va.

RICHMOND, Va. (WFXR) – Gov. Glenn Youngkin introduced the Division of Prison Justice Providers (DCJS) has been awarded $631,262 to assist with disaster administration in faculties.

Youngkin says the funds can be used to begin a disaster administration enhancement challenge to extend communication and coordination between college officers and legislation enforcement. The challenge is aimed to extend college security and sustainability planning efforts.

“I’m happy to see Virginia growing stronger school-law enforcement partnerships,” mentioned Governor Glenn Youngkin. “This funding could have a big impression on the security and wellbeing of our faculty communities in Virginia.”
