Two found dead in submerged car

NELSON COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) – The Virginia State Police (VSP) are investigating a automobile present in a river in Nelson County on Dec. 27.

In accordance with the VSP, they have been alerted to a submerged automobile within the Rockfish River close to the intersection of Bridgeport Lane and Johnson Hole in Nelson County.

The VSP says that there are two confirmed fatalities, and the investigation is ongoing.
