AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Texas and Oklahoma are heading to the Southeastern Convention in 2024, a yr sooner than initially deliberate, after Large 12 officers cleared the way in which Thursday for the storied applications to exit their league.
Texas and Oklahoma will go away behind the $50 million every faculty would have acquired over the following two seasons below the Large 12′s media contracts.
Large 12 Commissioner Brett Yormak stated the league would solely comply with an early departure “if it was in our greatest curiosity.”
