Local murder suspect wanted since 2011 arrested in Oklahoma City
CINCINNATI (WKRC) – A murder suspect who has been wanted by Cincinnati Police since 2011 was arrested in Oklahoma City.
Charles Turk was arrested at the Coyote Ugly Bar in Oklahoma City, where he was working as security.
A warrant for Turk was issued on June 14, 2011, charging him with murder. Turk is a suspect in the murder of Richard Jones in 2010.
Jones’ body was found at the Hartwell County Club.
The Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST), led by the U.S. Marshals, took on the case in 2016 and had been searching for Turk since then.
Turk will be held in the Oklahoma County Detention Center, pending his extradition to Hamilton County.
