The Washington Commanders chosen Oklahoma State cornerback Christian Holmes with the No. 240 total choice within the 2022 NFL draft.
Holmes is a 6-foot-0, 205-pound defensive again who completed his profession at Oklahoma State after beginning his profession at Missouri. Holmes completed his remaining season with 39 tackles, one sack, one interception and 6 passes defended.
Holmes is an efficient athlete, ending with a formidable Relative Athletic Rating and will help on particular groups. Holmes will compete for a task in Washington’s secondary, which is in want of cornerback depth.
The Commanders misplaced cornerbacks Darryl Roberts and Torry McTyer from final season’s roster, so there is a chance for Holmes.
Holmes is one other older prospect, which seemed to be a theme for a few of Washington’s picks within the 2022 draft.
Christian Holmes is a CB prospect within the 2022 draft class. He scored a 9.06 RAS out of a potential 10.00. This ranked 181 out of 1923 CB from 1987 to 2022. https://t.co/v2ffAJ8aGK #RAS pic.twitter.com/VM0VjJcZhi
