NC mom warning others after son suffer burns during social media challenge
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — A North Carolina mom is warning mother and father and teenagers after her 16-year-old son was burned whereas performing a social media problem.
Holli Darkish’s son, Mason, is recovering within the UNC Hospitals Burn Clinic, in accordance with Channel 9′s affiliate WTVD. Holli mentioned her son used a bottle of spray paint and a lighter to make a flamethrower, which was a part of a Tik-Tok problem.
“Don’t attempt this stuff,” Holli mentioned. “Don’t, don’t, don’t do it. It’s not value it.”
Mason has 80% burns on his physique. Holli now desires different mother and father to pay attention to comparable challenges and take a task in monitoring their youngsters’ social media.
“Guys, its not value it. You recognize youngsters doing loopy issues. It takes one second for it to not go best for you.”
Holli instructed WTVD her son is making progress within the hospital.
