Mother facing charges after missing Florida child found in North Carolina

BOONE, N.C. (WSPA) — A lacking youngster from Florida was discovered Wednesday in Boone, North Carolina, in line with the Asheville Police Division.

Police stated the kid was recognized to be within the Asheville space. The division stated adopted leads and located the 8-year-old boy was in Boone.

Officers labored with Boone Police Division and the U.S. Marshals Service to seek out him together with his mom — who had been on the run together with her son.

The mom was arrested and charged with fugitive warrants out of Florida for concealing a toddler opposite to a courtroom order, officers stated. The boy was safely returned to his father in Florida.

Raquel Quinche Gutierre, 35, of Boca Raton, was arrested on the fugitive warrant and brought to the Watauga County Detention Middle in Boone for reserving, in line with the police division.
