2 felons on the run after escaping NC prison facility near I-95, officials say

LUMBERTON, N.C. (WNCN) — North Carolina jail officers are on the lookout for two felons who escaped a facility in Lumberton Monday, authorities stated.

The duo escaped Monday afternoon from the Robeson Confinement in Response to Violation Heart in Lumberton, in accordance with a information launch from the North Carolina Division of Public Security.

“They have been found lacking shortly after 3 p.m.,” the information launch stated.

Craig Guess Jr., 39, and Arlo Swink Jr., 38, have been on the heart for 90-days after violations throughout their post-prison launch supervision, officers stated.

They each have been convicted of crimes in Rutherford County and have been set for launch from the Lumberton facility on June 7.

Guess was convicted in 2019 for trying to acquire property below false pretenses. He has a tattoo of a cranium on his proper arm.

Swink had a 2021 drug conviction and has tattoos on his chest, neck and a cross tattoo on his left arm.
