JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Sheriffs from across the state are assembly in Biloxi this week for his or her annual conference.

It’s also proving to be a summit about how legislation enforcement is in search of new methods to fulfill the calls for of skyrocketing crime.

There was a query and reply session with Mississippi Corrections Commissioner Burl Cain, who has been in legislation enforcement for practically a half-century.

Cain and Deputy Commissioner Jay Mallett mentioned housing the state’s greater than 17,000 inmates and rehabilitation packages with the county legislation enforcement leaders.
