Mississippi man dies in Pickwick Lake crash
A 63-year-old Mississippi man was killed early Saturday morning in a crash on Pickwick Lake near Waterloo in Lauderdale County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
The aluminum fishing vessel he was operating hit a support column on the Second Creek Bridge. He was ejected from the vessel and died at the scene, ALEA Sgt. Jeremy J. Burkett said in a news release.
The victim has been identified as Ricky D. Rodgers of Iuka.
The Marine Patrol Division of ALEA is investigating the crash.
