A person has been arrested for tried rape of a 79-year-old Mississippi lady.

Fayette cops had been referred to as to the Jefferson County Hospital a couple of doable rape at roughly 9 p.m. Friday. Police say the lady put up a battle in the course of the incident.

Police say the sufferer recognized her assailant as Landra Gaines. Gaines was arrested at 2:10 a.m. Saturday and was booked into the Jefferson County jail.
