Hiway 80 Garage Sale underway from Mississippi to Mesquite
LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) – For some distributors, it’s an opportunity at large gross sales. For buyers, it’s an opportunity at large bargains, all wrapped up in a sale that stretches from Mississippi to Texas.
The historic Hiway 80 Storage Sale is underway this weekend alongside Freeway 80 from Jackson, Mississippi, to Mesquite, Texas. Some distributors started organising as early as 5 this morning, in anticipation of fine climate and plenty of motorists stopping in to buy.
For many, it’s the number of objects that’s so interesting: garden tractors, furnishings, clothes, home equipment and extra. Plus, there are bargains to be discovered.
Longview vendor Virginia Pattullo mentioned the sale is extra about nostalgia, with some buyers simply on the lookout for a reminiscence.
