Inter Miami fielded a well-recognized beginning XI, making two modifications from its final match. Nick Marsman began in purpose; DeAndre Yedlin, Damion Lowe, Aimé Mabika and Chris McVey remained on the staff’s backline; Jean Mota, Gregore and Bryce Duke began in midfield; Robert Taylor and Ariel Lassiter began on the wings alongside striker Leonardo Campana.

After scoring the primary purpose of his MLS profession in Inter Miami’s 2-1 victory over Atlanta United final weekend, Duke reached one other milestone in tonight’s match, making his first MLS begin for Inter Miami rather than the injured Robbie Robinson. Captain Gregore, in the meantime, returned to the beginning XI after lacking Inter Miami’s final fixture because of a suspension for yellow card accumulation.
