Man injured during shooting in Miami’s Little Haiti, police say

MIAMI – A person was injured throughout a taking pictures on Tuesday evening in Miami’s Little Haiti.

Officer Michael Vega, a spokesman for the Miami Police Division, stated the taking pictures was within the space of Northeast Miami Place and 65 Avenue.

Officers responded to the taking pictures shortly after 9:10 p.m. after witnesses known as 911. Miami Fireplace Rescue personnel discovered he was shot a number of occasions.

Vega stated the person was alert when Fireplace Rescue personnel took him to the Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Middle for remedy.

Officers are asking anybody with details about the taking pictures to name Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
