DeSantis administration bans pro-Palestinian group from state campuses
MIAMI – On Wednesday, the DeSantis administration ordered public universities to disband campus chapters of a pro-Palestinian student group.
It impacts the University of Florida and the University of South Florida. The two schools in the state that have chapters of the group “Students for Justice in Palestine.”
The state alleged that the group’s national leadership backed Hamas’ attack on Israel.
