Motorcyclist Killed In Weekend Crash Identified As Silver Spring Man


SILVER SPRING, MD — A Silver Spring motorcyclist who died in a weekend crash was identified Monday by Montgomery County Police.

Investigators said Ezekial Solomon, 19, was driving a 2013 BMW S 1000 RR motorcycle northbound on Old Georgetown Road about 5 p.m. Saturday when he struck a maroon 2018 Honda Odyssey van that was southbound on Old Georgetown Road. The driver of the Honda was turning left onto eastbound Nicholson Lane.

The adult driver of the Honda remained on scene and was uninjured; police did not release that driver’s name.

Solomon was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a police news release.
