A gaggle of center schoolers encountered a serendipitous shock at Winters Run in Hartford County over the weekend.

The sixth and seventh graders have been having fun with the outside after they discovered a pearl in a freshwater Corbicula clam, in line with the Maryland Division of Pure Assets.

Though it’s non-native, the Corbicula has the capability to supply pearls, and the Maryland DNR says it is fairly a uncommon discover.

That is one more extraordinary discovery in our space as a Pennsylvania man having fun with a meal together with his household at Salt Air Restaurant in Rehoboth Seashore, DE got here throughout a purple pearl earlier this month.
